Title: "Spiritual Warfare" Year: 1992 Medium: Oils on Canvas Dimensions: 36" x 36" This is a detail view of the angel on the right. You'll notice that his angel's legs are not fully formed yet. The reason for this is that he is still in the process of "teleporting" in to aid his comarade. I tried to convey a battle-worn look on his face and this was what stirred much of the controversy around this painting. If you hadn't noticed, I'm not a big fan of the whole chubby-cherub look. |
