Ephesians 6:12 I had just finished reading "This Present Darkness" by Frank E. Piretti and my mind was flooded with images for months afterwards. He portrayed angels like I had never thought of them before, powerful, magestic, warrior-like, battle-hardened, and I became so inspired by these visuals that this (my FIRST and ONLY oil painting to date) was the result. I think of this as my crowning achievment so far as paintings go and it's surprising how effortless this piece was to create. It has won several awards and inspired much controversy by believers and non-believers alike. |
