Title: "Gwyllion - The Lady of Angkor"
Year: 2003
Medium: Photography, Photoshop
Dimensions: Digital - 500 x 650 pixels

"I bring forth growing roots, curling tendrils, weaving vines
Dancing with me, they bring forth fruit and flowers
I cause eerie winds, and the creaking dance of old trees
Whose cracklings also show the inner movement"

    - excerpt from Vajramrite, Buddha Meditation.

I spent 7 hours on this piece which is a blend of several pieces of traditional photography edited in Photoshop.

A "Gwyllion" is a type of faerie that sits along mountains paths and watches passerby's.

"Angkor" is a place in Cambodia that is famous for the nearby ruins of "Ta Prohm". If you've seen the first TombRaider movie, you're familiar with what I'm talking about. These exsquisite ruins create the background of this piece.
